No safety pin is required. Pull the cap off, press the green button for the flashlight, press the red button for the zapper.
How far away from you attacker can you be? Or do you have to touch your attacker with the device to deliver the shock?
You have to touch te thug buster to them while holding down the button to administer the shock. Don’t worry, I think that attacker have to be super fast to avoid this thing. also the very loud crackle (sounds like a bug zapper on steroids) should scare most criminals away. Remember, this is a means of protection and defense.
Does the lid pop off or unscrew? I’m worried about it popping off in my purse, being pressed down by my other stuff and shocking me.

How powerful is it? Will it electrocute somebody?
With 25 million volts, the lipstick stun gun (some call it a taser) is very powerful! However, it will not electrocute somebody. A quick tap is like a really bad electrical burn or a shortening burn. It’s very painful and for about a minute, the brain is screaming “Oh my God, that hurt! Oh my God, that hurt ! Oh my God, that hurt!” A 2-4 second shot to the torso is typically enough to put someone on the ground. A shot to the groin is often VERY effective (hint, hint)! Also, if you hit the leg, the leg will buckle and cause your attacker to lose his balance.
How long do I charge the thug buster?
Charge it overnight, and the charge will last about 3 months. After that, take it out once in a while and give it a zap. If the lipstick stun gun sounds “tired”, plug it in for an hour or two and you will be as good as new.
