Who we are ...
ThugBusters, LLC is a family-owned business that started in Waynesville, Ohio, and is now based in Rochester, NY. The owners, Dan and Lise Neville, started this when we both worked in a nursing school. Like everyone else in education, we were looking for a side hustile. We heard from our students about the really bad areas they had to park at their clinical education sites. We thought that perhaps we could help them out. We researched a lot of companies for about six months, found the best products with the best warranties, and launched.
We have been absolutely blown away by the support from the communities everywhere we went. We spent almost all of our vacation time for the first 8 years traveling around the eastern US exhibiting at about 200 consumber events. We have realized we have a lot of friends who either work odd hours or in not-so-safe areas – teachers, nurses, servers, students, real estate agents and more – who have been afraid to walk to their cars. We have known victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and more. We have heard you, and we are on a crusade.
We take pride in listening to your needs and concerns, then recommending a solution that is right for your situation. You need to feel that you can confidently defend yourself when that awful time comes, and we’re here to help you do that.
So – after hundreds of shows and talking to thousands of people just like you, we get it.
