ThugBusters ships stun guns and tasers to Hawaii as of January 1, 2022!
On January 1, 2022, they will be legal for “(1) self-defense; (2) defense of another person; or (3) protection of property of the person or of another person.”
As reported on Hawaii News Now, the state ban on stun guns and TASERs has been lifted and the new law goes into effect on January 1, 2022.
What’s the difference between a stun gun and a TASER?
A stun gun produces an electric shock that causes pain on contact. It is not designed to drop someone to the ground.
A TASER shoots the projectiles, which are attached to the gun by wires. On contact, the recipient’s muscles lock up and they typically fall to the ground.
