Here’s the scenario:
You’re walking out to your car, perhaps in a parking lot or a parking garage. Maybe you’re just walking someplace where you just don’t feel safe, like across campus. Put the strap from your Thug Buster around your wrist as you leave the building. There’s someone following you, or a thug hanging around in the parking lot, or maybe you just don’t feel safe. Slide the button halfway for a very bright flashlight. You can even use the flashlight as a weapon – shine the light right in his eyes. At the very least, even in a well-lit location, it will give him spots in his eyes for a few minutes. In a dark location, the flashlight will temporarily blind him.

He keeps coming. Slide the button on the Thug Buster all the way forward to arm the stun gun. The red light will come on and the flashlight will shut off. He’s going to think your flashlight failed, and now is his opportunity. He’s now within arm’s reach. Squeeze the trigger as you push the stun gun into his ribs, the belly or even better yet, the groin. He will get the full effect of this very powerful stun gun. Hold it on him as long as you can – if you can get a couple of seconds, he’s going down. Here’s the best part – if you only get a “love tap” on him and he takes it away from you, he can’t hurt you with your own Thug Buster  because you still have the safety pin attached to your wrist.

There may be times you might want to fire the stun gun aka taser into the air, like a warning. That crackle from the taser is a very distinctive sound, just like the “chuck-chuck” when a shot gun is pumped. To a thug, that will translate to “Leave me alone, or you’re going to have a really bad day.”

3 seconds or more from the Thug Buster Trigger stun gun will most likely put him on the ground. A quick tap with the stun gun aka taser will feel like a really bad grease burn or shortening burn – ever been burned by hot grease? It’s also like a really bad electrical burn, or when you smash your finger with a hammer. Your whole brain freezes for a minute or two while you’re dealing with the pain. That “brain freeze” time after you zap him, while he’s trying to figure out what just hit him, is your escape time!

Where do you hit him with the taser? Never go for the arm, as the arm can take a lot of pain. Go for the soft belly, the chest (if you hit a rib, it will radiate through the chest), or the best spot – right in the groin. Ideally, you would go for the side of the neck, but you might not be able to get there. Even if he has his arms around your chest, just reach back and zap. Even if you hit the leg, the leg is going to buckle.

The Trigger stun gun is effective through light clothing or jeans. We get asked all the time “What if he’s wearing a jacket?”. Well, it’s rare that someone wears a jacket below the waist. That means your prime target – the family jewels – are an easy target!

The most important thing is to put the strap around your wrist. That’s the whole key as to why this stun gun is so effective. Take it out of your purse, just like you would take your keys out before you leave the building. The last thing you want to do in an emergency situation is fish around in your purse trying to find this.

This Trigger stun gun has a built-in charger. Slide the button out to expose the plug, and plug it into an outlet over night (just the first time you charge it. That overnight charge will last you about 3 months. These are not like your cell phone that you have to charge very other day. Every once a month or so, take it out and give it a zap. If it sounds “tired”, or it is zapping slower than normal, just charge it up for an hour or two and you’re good to go.

TRIGGER Stun Gun Instructions

Trigger Stun Gun with Flashlight
WARNINGS:
DO NOT DISCHARGE THE STUN GUN INTO THE AIR FOR MORE THAN 1 SECOND AT ATIME. REPEAT FIRING
INTO THE AIR FOR MORE THAN 1 SECOND CAN DAMAGE THE UNIT AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

OPERATION:
The safety/power switch on the side of the unit has 3 positions, when the switch is to the bottom position it is
OFF and works as a safety. When it is in the middle position it will turn on the flashlight and will stay on until
turned off. Slide the safety switch to the top position, it is ON and ready to activate. The red light will turn on and
you can press the red trigger button to discharge/activate the stun gun for 1 second only. Discharging for more
than 1 second at a time may damage the unit and will void the warranty. You will see and hear an electrical
discharge between the electrodes. There is no need to charge the battery after each test. Make sure the wrist
strap with the disable pin is inserted in the bottom of the unit or it will not discharge.

TO USE:
Touch an attacker with the outside metal contact probes while pressing the activation button. You can touch any
part of assailant’s body, but the large muscle areas and the upper torso is your primary target.

A ½ second touch from the Trigger Stun Gunwill startle and repel assailants, giving some pain and muscle contractions. A moderate length touch of 2 to 4 seconds can cause an attacker to fall to the ground and result in some mental confusion. A touch
of 5 or more seconds can cause loss of balance and muscle control, mental confusion and disorientation. No
sound will be heard when touching an attacker with a stun gun. Under no conditions you can suffer a charge
back to your own body, even if assailant is holding you. The unit cannot be damaged by continued firing into the
body of an assailant but remember not to test fire the unit in the air for more than one second.

BATTERY INFORMATION:
The stun gun should work right out of the box, but it is a good idea to have a full charge of at least 6-8 hours but
no more than 8 hours. DO NOT overcharge the battery; this will shorten the battery’s life span. A fully charged
battery should hold a charge for 3 months, if your model has a light & it is used often then this time will be less.
The best way to keep the battery fully charged is to charge the battery once a month for 1 to 2 hours (a little
longer if you are using the light daily) this should keep the battery fully charged. But remember NOT TO
OVERCHARGE THE BATTERY because this will shorten the battery’s life span. Under normal conditions the
battery can be charged up to 900 times. You need to keep the battery charged during storage. The battery must
be charged every 3-4 months to keep the battery fresh and operational.
